JSim software is made available free of charge use as a public service by the University of Washington. Open source (BSD style) and binary distributions are available. View complete license terms

JSim releases come in two flavors:
- public releases:
Public releases are well-tested, stable and appropriate for most users, especially new ones.
The current public release is version 2.16. - beta releases:
Beta releases are less well-tested, but when available, contain the latest features and bug fixes not available in the public releases.
The latest beta release is version 2.17.

- MacIntosh binary distribution
- Linux binary distribution
- Source distribution
- Release archives (older versions)
